D&D Online's Court of Strahd Event Arrives October 14

Dungeons and Dragons Online is getting spooky next month with the Court of Strahd event, launching October 14th and bringing a scary new foe to the game.

Ready to get a little spooked in your MMO? Dungeons and Dragons Online is jumping the scythe a bit early this year, announcing a creepy new event that's headed your way next month.

SSG has revealed that the Court of Strahd event is officially coming to Dungeons and Dragons Online on October 14th. Yes, that's right around the corner, and it's bringing some serious Halloween energy with it.

If the name Strahd rings a bell, you're probably thinking of the infamous vampire lord from Ravenloft. This event leans hard into that gothic horror vibe, which fits perfectly with spooky season practically being upon us already.

The big draw here is a scary foe waiting inside the Court of Strahd. SSG is keeping the details close to the chest for now, but the tease alone is enough to get DDO players speculating about what kind of fight awaits.

October 14th is the date to circle on your calendar. Whether you're a longtime DDO veteran or someone who hops back in whenever a seasonal event drops, this one's shaping up to be worth logging in for.

So why is this worth your attention? Seasonal events in DDO tend to bring limited-time rewards, unique encounters, and a reason to rally your guildmates. A creepy Strahd-themed event checks all those boxes and then some.

We don't have the full rundown on rewards, mechanics, or how long the event will run just yet, but expect more details to trickle out as October 14th gets closer. For now, consider this your early heads-up.
