PUBG x Bentley Collab Arrives: Is This Battle Royale Secretly a Racing Game?

PUBG's October 14 update brings the long-awaited Bentley collaboration, adding three luxury vehicle skins alongside a new zombie survival mode and gameplay tweaks.

Ever joked that PUBG might secretly be a racing game? Well, after October 14's update, that joke is getting harder to argue with.

The long-awaited Bentley collaboration has finally gone live, meaning you can now tear across the battlefield in yet another iconic luxury car. Following Porsche, Bugatti, and Lamborghini, PUBG's reputation as a crossover addict is basically cemented at this point.

Where those previous brands screamed raw performance, Bentley leans into elegance and prestige with a sporty business vibe. The star of the show is the Flying Spur Mulliner, packed with classic British design touches that balance luxury with a quiet sense of power.

Three skins are up for grabs this time, covering both sedans and sports cars. PUBG recreated Bentley's signature style as faithfully as possible, using the Flying Spur Mulliner and Continental GTC Mulliner as references. Two Flying Spur skins apply to the Dacia and Muscle Car, while the Continental GTC Mulliner fits the Coupe RB.

Here's the cool part: these skins don't just change how your ride looks. Engine start-up, horn sounds, and more have all been fully retuned for an immersive driving experience. PUBG even replicated little details like the Flying Spur's rotating display and self-leveling wheel badge. Fire it up and you'll hear a dedicated engine roar and exhaust crackle, with driving audio carefully tuned to show off Bentley's signature deep growl. The rare Flying Spur Mulliner Luxe sedan goes even further, adding a sliding panoramic sunroof and a retractable hood ornament for maximum ceremony.

The Continental GT's folding soft top also got a loving recreation. Below 80 km/h, you can open or close it freely, and cleverly, your character model and throwables won't collide with the roof while it's down, so the fun doesn't come at the cost of gameplay.

And no, you don't need to worry about pay-to-win. Swapping in a vehicle skin won't change HP, speed, or fuel range, so competitive fairness stays intact.

As for getting these skins, it works through a pass plus supply station draw system. Bentley crate tickets can be bought in the shop with BP, capped at 50 per account, giving free-to-play players a real shot at the dream. You can also level up the pass through missions to earn Bentley tokens and crate tickets. Head to the supply station and open Bentley crates with tickets or G-Coins for a chance at vehicle skins, with extra rewards like more tickets and paint seals as you keep pulling. Duplicate or unwanted seals can be dismantled into Bentley tokens and exchanged for the three vehicle skins or various paint seals. All told, the cost of snagging a Bentley skin has dropped significantly, and the community is already sharing plenty of free-to-play strategies.

Beyond Bentley, the update brings a new SLB mode called Erangel Dawnbreaker. This four-player co-op PvE mode from last year has been fondly remembered, with fans constantly asking for its return. This time, you'll start generators in the dark and hold off the Hungry Ones for a fresh zombie survival twist.

PUBG also kept polishing the experience with gameplay and system tweaks. The message wheel now includes quick callouts like "Get in!" and "Move!", vehicle spawns are more consistent between normal and ranked modes, and controller presets on console are getting an overhaul.

Overall, this update feels like a full-scale content upgrade. Whether you're a hardcore competitor or a casual dabbler, there's something here for you. So, are you grabbing a Bentley skin, or diving straight into the zombie mode? Let us know!
