Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Reveals Creepy Dark Link

Nintendo just gave us our first proper look at Dark Link in the Switch 2 remake of Ocarina of Time, and he's looking seriously sinister in a new 30-second ad.
Nintendo just dropped a fresh look at the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and we finally got a proper glimpse of Dark Link. Spoiler: he looks absolutely menacing.
The reveal came tucked inside a new 30-second ad, where Link's shadowy doppelganger only flashes on screen for a few brief seconds. But those few seconds are enough to make an impression.
The ad itself opens on a solemn, dramatic shot of Ganondorf playing the organ, setting a seriously ominous tone right from the start. From there, it rolls into new footage of some of the game's enemies, giving fans a peek at how the remake is handling its darker corners.
As a reminder, this Ocarina of Time remake is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, and it's locked in for a November 5 release. So if you're planning to dive back into Hyrule, you'll need the new hardware to do it.
Dark Link has always been one of the coolest and creepiest parts of Ocarina of Time, so seeing him get this kind of spotlight in the remake trailer is a nice treat for longtime fans. The brief tease definitely leaves you wanting more.
With the November 5 launch creeping closer, expect Nintendo to keep rolling out little glimpses like this one. If the Dark Link tease is anything to go by, the remake is leaning hard into the eerie atmosphere that made the original so memorable.
What do you think of Dark Link's new look? Are you hyped to replay Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, or are you still on the fence? Let us know in the comments!
