Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Amiibo Up for Pre-Order

Nintendo's Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo for the Ocarina of Time remake are now available to pre-order at $25 each, but they won't arrive until 2027.
If you're hyped for the Ocarina of Time remake, Nintendo's got some adorable collectibles headed your way — just don't expect them anytime soon.
The new Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake are now up for pre-order, priced at $25 each. That's roughly 167 yuan if you're doing the conversion.
Here's the catch: both figures aren't expected to launch until 2027. That means they'll actually arrive after the game itself, which is slated to hit Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. So you'll be playing the remake for a while before your shelf gets its new residents.
What do they actually do in-game? Both amiibo unlock special masks. These masks are inspired by the original 1998 N64 release of Ocarina of Time — a nice little nod for longtime fans who remember the OG version.
Speaking of the remake itself, this isn't just a quick upscale. According to the source, the team is doing a fairly comprehensive overhaul specifically for Switch 2. The game features a brand-new 3D visual style, with upgraded graphics and material details that should make Hyrule look better than ever.
And it's not just about looks — the controls are getting modernized too. Multiple adjustments have been made to bring the original's gameplay feel up to date, which should make it more comfortable for players used to contemporary action-adventure games.
So mark your calendars: game first in November 2026, amiibo later in 2027. That's a long wait for some plastic masks, but hey, they're pretty cool masks.
Are you planning to pick up the remake when it drops? And will you be grabbing the Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo despite the wait? Let us know in the comments!
