Where Winds Meet Wall Puzzle Explained: Pull Blocks Out or Push Them In?
Understand the Where Winds Meet wall block mechanic: pull out the Yanyun Oath characters and push every incorrect block in.
The wall puzzle's controls are easier once you understand the lighting rule.
- Pull a block out: it becomes illuminated. - Push a block in: it becomes dim. - Correct final state: only 山河寸土 and 誓死不易 are lit.
## The elimination method
Do not try to light every block. Start by pushing in the blocks that do not belong to the oath. Then pull out the eight correct characters. This prevents one extra glowing block from keeping the gate locked.
## Why guides use different positions
Position instructions depend on which side of the room is called left or right and which camera angle the screenshot uses. The character phrase is more stable than a numbered block.
## Final check
Left wall: 山 河 寸 土. Right wall: 誓 死 不 易. If a character is dim or an unrelated block is glowing, correct it before leaving the room.
