TFT Set 18 Best Items and Augments for the Top Comps

A practical TFT Set 18 item and augment guide for Spellweaver Ahri, Defender Cassiopeia, Sprykin Veigar, and other Patch 18.1 comps.

The best item in TFT Set 18 depends on the comp, the carry, and the stage of the game. A strong board with flexible items is usually better than a weak board waiting for a perfect recipe.

## AP carry packages

Ahri's current Spellweaver guide recommends Blue Buff, Jeweled Gauntlet, and Nashor's Tooth. Cassiopeia's Defender reroll guide points toward Archangel's Staff, Blue Buff, and Hextech Gunblade. Veigar's craftable package is Blue Buff, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Hextech Gunblade.

These lists share an important idea: mana, ability power, and a way to survive or sustain. If your components do not match exactly, complete a functional two-item spike instead of keeping units unitemized.

## Frontline items

Gargoyle Stoneplate is strongest when the holder can attract attacks from several enemies. Protector's Vow adds a defensive timing window, while Warmog's Armor provides raw health. ## Do not force an augment

An augment is only good when it matches your board, items, and level plan. Epic Rolldown is more attractive when you can actually reach a high-level roll-down. A tank augment is more valuable when your carry already has a complete damage package.

## Scouting changes item value

If the lobby has heavy healing, add anti-heal or magic-resistance solutions. If assassins are common, protect the carry or use a defensive item. If enemies clump, area damage and a well-positioned utility unit can outperform a small single-target upgrade.
