Naughty Dog's Intergalactic Adds Last of Us and Uncharted Actor

Robin Atkin Downes, known for roles in The Last of Us and Uncharted, joins the cast of Naughty Dog's upcoming Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
Ever wonder what happens when a veteran voice actor gets cast in a new project? Well, Robin Atkin Downes just gave us a peek, and he's pretty pumped.
Downes, who you might know as Robert from The Last of Us or from his many roles in the Uncharted series, recently took to social media to announce he's joining the cast of Naughty Dog's upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. He didn't spill the beans on who he's playing, but his excitement is contagious.
If you're not familiar with Downes, he's a big deal in the gaming world. He's voiced the Medic in Team Fortress 2, Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes, Spider in Destiny 2: Forsaken, and Ballistic in Apex Legends. So, yeah, he's got some serious chops.
Intergalactic is shaping up to be a major title for PS5, though details are still under wraps. Set thousands of years in the future, it stars Tati Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter stranded on the mysterious planet Sempira. The game has been in development since 2020, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross handling the soundtrack.
Other confirmed cast members include Kumail Nanjiani, Tony Dalton, Troy Baker, and Merle Dandridge. With a lineup like that, Intergalactic is already turning heads.
As for when we'll get to play it, Naughty Dog is keeping that close to the chest. But with the cast growing and the hype building, it's definitely one to watch.
Are you excited to see Downes in Intergalactic? What do you think his role might be? Let us know in the comments!
