Control Resonant Hotfix 1.3.3 Makes Dylan Stronger and Enemies Weaker

Remedy's new hotfix for Control Resonant reduces enemy health, boosts Dylan's power, and cuts respec costs to ease early-game difficulty.
Ever jumped into a new game and felt like the enemies were just too tanky? Well, if you're playing Control Resonant, you're not alone. Remedy Entertainment has heard the feedback and dropped Hotfix 1.3.3 to make things a bit less brutal. The patch is live now, and it's all about making Dylan feel stronger while giving you more room to experiment.
The main tweak here is to enemy health pools and Dylan's overall strength. According to the hotfix notes, Remedy wants to improve the gameplay feel and flow while still providing a challenge. They noticed that depending on player progression, enemies could feel like damage sponges during the early hours. So now, the base health and required Falter level for enemies have been reduced. Meanwhile, Dylan's Aberrant strength and maximum Ability strength have been increased. That means you'll be able to make enemies falter more easily, setting them up for those satisfying instant-kill finishers.
But that's not all. Remedy is also encouraging buildcrafting and experimentation. How? By permanently reducing the cost of respeccing and increasing the stock of Reset Items across all vendors. Plus, the first boss fight, The Artist, will now drop two Reset Items instead of one. This should give you more freedom to try different builds without feeling punished.
If you're someone who prefers to focus on the story and the wonderfully weird world of Control Resonant, you can always use Assist Mode. With it, you can toggle various gameplay options to make Dylan immortal and capable of one-hit kills. Essentially, you can turn the game into a walk in the park. That's great news for players who want to soak in the narrative without worrying about difficulty.
Lastly, Remedy is updating a couple of English UI texts to better explain Build Power and Aberrant Strength. These changes are only in English for now, but other languages will get them in due time. It's a small but helpful tweak for understanding the game's systems.
So, whether you're struggling with the early game or just want to feel like a parautilitarian powerhouse, Hotfix 1.3.3 has you covered. The changes aim to make the experience smoother while keeping the challenge intact for those who want it. Will you be jumping back in to test out the new balance? Let us know in the comments!
