Wolverine Patch 1.001.006 Adds Senses Toggles, Fixes Photo Mode
Insomniac's latest Wolverine update adds on/off toggles for Senses features like Whisky Bottle Scent Trails and Material Crate Audio Clues, plus fixes crashes and Photo Mode claw issues.
Ever wish you could turn off Wolverine's super-senses? Well, now you can. Insomniac Games has rolled out Marvel's Wolverine update 1.001.006, and it's all about giving you more control over the game's sensory overload.
The patch adds new on/off toggles for select visual features. Specifically, you can now toggle Whisky Bottle Scent Trails, Material Crate Audio Clues, and Nightmare Door Roots. These are the kinds of visual and audio cues that help you track things down, but sometimes they can clutter the screen or break immersion. Now you decide when they show up.
But that's not all. The update also addresses several crashes that were identified through crash logs and community reports. So if you've been dealing with random freezes or shutdowns, this patch should smooth things out. Insomniac is clearly listening to player feedback and digging into those error reports.
And for all you virtual photographers out there, there's a fix for Photo Mode claw issues. No more weird claw glitches ruining your perfect shot. Now you can snap those epic Wolverine poses without any visual bugs getting in the way.
Overall, update 1.001.006 is a solid quality-of-life patch. It gives you more customization options for the game's Senses features, improves stability, and polishes Photo Mode. If you've been holding off on jumping back into Wolverine's shoes, now might be a good time.
What do you think about these new toggles? Will you be turning off any of the Senses features, or do you prefer to keep them all on? Let us know in the comments!
