Witcher 3 Remastered Gets Two Hotfixes in One Day as CDPR Vows More Fixes

CD Projekt Red rolled out two hotfixes for The Witcher 3 Remastered in a single day, addressing DLSS, save files, audio, and performance issues, with more updates promised.
Did you fire up The Witcher 3 Remastered only to run into a game-breaking bug? You're not alone, and CD Projekt Red is already on the case. The studio dropped not one but two hotfixes in a single day, tackling some of the most annoying issues on both consoles and PC.
The first patch hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S earlier in the day, and it fixed a bunch of things—from lighting problems to DLSS being unavailable in the Xbox Play Anywhere version. CDPR also threw in "various other adjustments to ensure parity with the PC version." They didn't stop there, though. The team said they were already investigating more issues and prepping a PC hotfix, which arrived just hours later.
That second patch focused on PC-specific headaches: saves not working properly, audio volume problems, and the notorious NVIDIA Hairworks issue that's been tanking performance for many of you. According to global community director Marcin Momot, the download size is roughly 5GB. He also confirmed that a console fix for the volume issue is planned, but there's no date yet—just a promise that "we're working on it."
Paweł Sasko, associate game director on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, echoed that sentiment. "Our work continues my dears to provide you with the best possible experience on The Witcher 3 Remastered," he wrote. It's clear CDPR isn't going to rest until every wrinkle is ironed out.
So, what does this mean for you? If you've been holding off on diving back into Geralt's adventure, these fixes should make things smoother. But if you're still hitting snags, don't stay quiet—the studio is paying close attention to feedback, so flag any issues you find.
With two hotfixes already out and more on the way, it looks like The Witcher 3 Remastered is getting the post-launch love it needs. Will you be jumping back in now that these fixes are live, or are you waiting for the next round of patches?
