WARDOGS Sells 3 Million Units in Two Weeks, Bulkhead Celebrates

Bulkhead Studios' WARDOGS hits 3 million sales in just over two weeks, even as the team acknowledges the hype won't last forever.
Did you predict WARDOGS would sell three million copies in just over two weeks? Bulkhead Studios probably didn't either, but that's exactly what happened. The studio celebrated the milestone while admitting, "this hype won't last forever, it doesn't make it any less rewarding." That's a refreshingly honest take from a team riding high on a massive launch.
For those who haven't jumped in yet, WARDOGS is a first-person shooter and military sim that throws 100 players into three PMCs fighting for territory. If you're an ARMA fan, you'll appreciate the realistic touches, but the action leans closer to Battlefield. The real magic, though, is the sandbox. There are no classes. Instead, you unlock advanced weapons, vehicles, and more by performing specific role actions.
Want to level up Recon? Spot and snipe enemies. Prefer Aircraft? Pilot an attack helicopter or ferry soldiers to the battlefield. Every action also earns you money that persists between matches, giving you a clear path to higher-tier gear. And that's before you even touch the base-building aspect, which is a whole other rabbit hole.
Bulkhead hasn't revealed much about Season 2, but its short teaser hints that rainy weather will play a major role. Mark your calendars for October 15th when the new season rolls out. If you're already playing, you know the grind is real, but the payoff is worth it. If you're on the fence, three million players can't be wrong.
What do you think about WARDOGS' explosive start? Will you be jumping in for Season 2? Let us know in the comments!
