The Duskbloods Network Test Crashes, Future Sessions Uncertain

From Software's first network test for The Duskbloods was cut short due to server issues, leaving the schedule for upcoming sessions in doubt.
Ever been excited to jump into a game, only to be locked out at the login screen? That's exactly what happened to players hoping to get a first taste of The Duskbloods.
From Software's first closed network test for the Switch 2 exclusive was scheduled to run from 3 AM to 7 AM PT / 6 AM to 10 AM ET, but widespread login errors forced the studio to pull the plug early.
"We regret to inform you that today's session is now closed," From Software announced on X, adding that they'll "continue to work on improving the servers and will announce future schedules at a later date."
That vague wording has left everyone guessing: will the second test session on Friday still happen? What about the weekend sessions? Right now, it's all up in the air.
On the bright side, this is exactly why network tests exist. Catching server issues now means From Software can fix them before the full launch. Sure, it's a bummer that you couldn't get your hands on characters like Zork, but a smooth launch is way more important.
If sessions do resume, you'll get to experience the same technical test that GameSpot played for their preview, which called the game "exciting" and said it "represents From Software's penchant to upend expectations and chart new territory."
So, are you disappointed about the delay? Will you be waiting for the next test window? Let us know in the comments!
