Returning to WoW Midnight? Here's Why It Feels Overwhelming

After a two-month break, a player returns to World of Warcraft Midnight and finds there's almost too much to do in the new season. Here's why that might be a good thing.
Ever taken a break from World of Warcraft, only to come back and feel like you've been hit by a void-infused truck? That's exactly what happened to me after letting my subscription lapse for two months. I thought I was done with season one, but then Blizzard dropped the Curse of Ula'tek patch and season two, and I just had to dive back into Azeroth's shadowy shores.
And let me tell you, it's been an incredibly overwhelming experience. There's so much to do that I actually found myself staring at the map, wondering where to even start. It's like the game heard I was coming back and decided to throw everything at me at once.
But here's the thing: is that really a bad thing? I mean, we all complain about content droughts, right? So when the game gives us a wealth of things to do, it's kind of a nice problem to have. Sure, it's a lot, but it's also a sign that the game is alive and kicking.
I've been diving into the new season's content, and I have to admit, the variety is impressive. From the new raid to the seasonal questlines, there's something for every type of player. And if you're like me, who loves a bit of everything, you might find yourself juggling multiple activities at once.
But don't worry, you don't have to do it all at once. The key is to prioritize what you enjoy most and tackle that first. For me, that's been the story content and getting my gear up to snuff. After that, I'll branch out into the other stuff.
So, if you're thinking about returning to World of Warcraft Midnight, just be prepared for a full plate. But honestly, isn't that better than the alternative? Would you rather have too much to do or nothing at all? I know which one I'd pick.
What do you think? Are you ready to jump back into the fray, or does the thought of all that content make you want to stay on the sidelines? Let me know in the comments!
