Missed the 2026 Pokémon World Championships? Don't worry—we've got you covered. The closing ceremonies were packed with surprises, from a brand-new movie to game updates and a major TCG reveal. Here's everything you need to know.

First up, the big one: a new animated movie is on the way! For the first time in seven years, Pokémon is hitting the big screen with 'Pokémon Wild Card,' slated for 2027. The teaser showed a TCG player and Mimikyu, and we're already hyped. Plus, the 2027 World Championships are heading to Singapore—marking a return to Asia for the first time since 2023.

For Pokémon Champions, get ready for Regulation Set M-C, introducing Rillaboom, Baxcalibur, and new Z-Megas: Mega Absol Z, Mega Lucario Z, and Mega Garchomp Z. There's also a teased Mega Heatran in the trailer, but it's not confirmed yet. These drop on September 9th JST, so mark your calendars.

Pokémon GO players, listen up: Mega-Evolved Pokémon now get an extra Charged Attack, and starting with GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale, you can take them into all levels of the GO Battle League. And guess what? Armored Mewtwo is returning after six long years—don't miss it!
