Pokémon Winds/Waves Beta Leaks: Map, Grass Gym, and a Possible Champion

Fresh leaked beta assets for Pokémon Winds/Waves show a stitched-together map, a Grass-type Gym, and a character model that might just be the Champion.
Here we go again, Trainers. Another batch of Pokémon Winds/Waves beta material has surfaced online, and this one's got people talking.
The leaks come courtesy of X user @grubbinscrubbin, who shared assets pulled from an early test build of the game. Among the goodies: several stitched-together map images, a handful of character models, a screenshot of what looks like a resort area, and early footage of a Grass-type Gym. The map itself was assembled by another user, @TM02, who pieced the scattered shots together.
But the real headline here is a character model that many are calling the game's Champion. The file is labeled "ChampAllAnim," which is about as on-the-nose as a leak can get. Naturally, fans are running with the theory that this is the Pokémon League Champion for Winds/Waves. That said, it's worth keeping your expectations in check — these assets come from an early version, so the final design could look completely different when the game actually ships.
This isn't the first time Winds/Waves has sprung a leak, either. The game has been hit with multiple rounds of rumors and datamined material already, so this latest drop fits a familiar pattern.
As for when you'll actually get your hands on it, Pokémon Winds/Waves is currently slated for a 2027 release. That's still a fair ways out, which means plenty of time for things to change. Since everything here stems from an unreleased test build, treat it all as unofficial until we hear otherwise. The Pokémon Company hasn't responded to this latest leak yet.
So what do you think — does "ChampAllAnim" have you hyped, or are you filing this one under "wait and see"? Either way, we'll be keeping an eye out for more Winds/Waves news as it rolls in.
