Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture Launches This Week: Where to Preorder

Reality Fracture hits shelves October 2, but preorders are already selling out. Here's what you can still grab and where to find it.
Are you ready to see the multiverse get twisted beyond recognition? Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture set launches this week, and it's shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases on the horizon—Universes Beyond or not.
The set's story sees Jace Beleren reshaping the multiverse to his liking, creating twisted new versions of iconic characters and cards. This "Echoverse" has some neat lore implications, like Strixhaven's schools becoming Hexhaven versions. Prerelease events happened September 26-27, and the full launch is just days away on October 2.
But here's the catch: Amazon is currently out of stock of everything Reality Fracture. So you'll need to look elsewhere—Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or resellers like TCGplayer—to find boosters or sealed boxes. Let's break down what you can preorder.
Play Boosters are your go-to for building a collection. A box at Amazon costs $164.70 and includes 30 packs. With 14 cards per pack, that's 420 cards total, and Wizards of the Coast promises 60+ legendary cards per box. If you don't want a full box, the Bundle is a solid option. It includes 9 Play Boosters, a promo card, full-art lands, a storage box, and a spindown die for $57.99. Think of it like the old "Fat Packs."
Collector Boosters are sadly sold out everywhere except trusted marketplaces like TCGplayer. They have an MSRP of $26.99—much pricier than Play Boosters—but they're where you'll find the rarest cards and alternate art treatments. Expect boxes to go for hundreds above MSRP.
Draft Night is also back, and this Reality Fracture version includes 12 Play Boosters for up to four players, plus 90 lands, all for $89.99. The winner gets a Collector Booster, which, as mentioned, is elusive. And for Commander fans, there's the Multiverse Reforged precon—the first four-color Commander deck in years. Helmed by Jace, it includes alternate reality versions of cards like Ob Nixilis, the Ascended, Omnath, Locus of the Void, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Preorder it for $49.99, though that price is climbing closer to launch. Early reviews say it plays pretty well!
With Reality Fracture just days away, you'll want to act fast if you're hoping to snag a box. Will you be picking up any Reality Fracture products? Let us know in the comments!
