hololive Dreams Ver.1.2.0 Drops New Soda Bubble Bay Area and Splash of Blue Gacha

hololive Dreams launches its third area, Soda Bubble Bay, plus a new 9-player minigame, a limited gacha with four 5-star members, and 2,500 free red diamonds for logging in.
Ever wanted to race a speedboat while firing water balls at rival teams in a hololive game? That's exactly what hololive Dreams just added.
QualiArts and COVER's rhythm RPG hololive Dreams (aka holodori) rolled out its big Ver.1.2.0 update on September 29, opening the game's third area, "Soda Bubble Bay." The ocean-themed zone brings a fresh main story, map exploration, fishing, speedboat travel, and a brand-new minigame called "Splash Ball." Up to nine players can jump into Splash Ball at once, split into three teams of three, steering boats to shoot balls into opposing goals—highest score when the whistle blows wins.
Alongside the new area, the high-score event "Splash of Blue!!" runs from September 29 at 12:00 JST until October 5 at 19:59 JST. You earn event badges by playing rhythm concerts or minigames, then trade them for event memory cards and training materials. There's also a ranking challenge based on cumulative scores for designated songs. Note: this event has no event Pt ranking.
The "Dreamy Azure New World Gacha" is live too, from September 29 at 11:00 JST to October 19 at 10:59 JST. It adds four new 5-star members: Marine Houshou's "Monopolize Treasure♡High-Pressure Water Cannon," Koyori Hakui's "Aventure of a Fleeting Moment," Kobo Kanaeru's "Body & Soul Swaying Between the Waves," and Hakos Baelz's "This Is My Top Recommendation!" You can also use the "Pick Your Own! Dreamy Azure New World Gacha" to boost your odds for a chosen member, and pulling them also grants their Live Outfit and Paradise Outfit.
Four new songs hit the game on September 29 at 12:00 JST as event challenge tracks: Marine Houshou's "Kyapi," Kobo Kanaeru's "Proposal," Hakos Baelz's "Play Dice!" and Koyori Hakui's "BAKU LOVE CHEMISTRY." The area theme song "PARADISE!" is now in the game too, sung by all seven Soda Bubble Bay talents: Marine Houshou, Lamy Yukihana, Polka Omaru, Kobo Kanaeru, Hakos Baelz, Koyori Hakui, and Ririka Ichijou.
Celebration goodies are stacked. The New Area Open Commemoration Login Bonus runs September 29 at 11:00 JST to October 19 at 04:59 JST, handing out up to 2,500 red diamonds just for logging in. The New Area Open Commemoration Missions run September 29 at 11:00 JST to October 26 at 04:59 JST, rewarding 500 red diamonds and items like the Holo Treasure Box. Everyone also gets 500 red diamonds as a thank-you for clearing the official livestream challenge, claimable September 29 at 11:00 JST through October 13 at 04:59 JST.
Just remember: event periods and content may change, so check in-game notices for the final word. Will you be diving into Soda Bubble Bay, or are you saving your pulls for a specific 5-star? Let us know!
