Grab LOTR Extended Trilogy for Just $15 on Amazon
Amazon drops price of Lord of the Rings extended trilogy to $15, just after War in the North re-release. Get all three movies digitally for a steal!
Did the surprise re-release of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North reignite your Middle-earth itch? If you're craving more from the franchise, Amazon has a deal that's hard to ignore.
Right now, you can snag the entire extended edition trilogy—Fellowship, Two Towers, and Return of the King—for just $15. That's a massive 66% off the usual $45 price tag. Sure, it's digital, but at this price, who's complaining?
2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the films, with Fellowship hitting theaters in 2001, followed by Two Towers in 2002 and Return of the King in 2003. All three were critical and commercial smashes, with Return of the King sweeping the Oscars in 2004, winning all 11 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director for Peter Jackson.
If you're already looking ahead, there's more LOTR on the horizon. The Hunt for Gollum is slated for 2027, and while recent games like Gollum and Tales of the Shire left fans wanting, there's hope: Warhorse Studios (of Kingdom Come fame) is working on a "deeply immersive" LOTR game, and Crystal Dynamics (Tomb Raider) is reportedly developing one too. Plus, expect more re-releases of classic LOTR games.
So, will you be grabbing this trilogy deal while it's hot? Let us know in the comments!
