Fate/Extra Record Drops New Trailer for Archer

A new character trailer for Fate/Extra Record puts the spotlight on playable Servant Archer. The remake is coming to modern platforms.
Ever wondered what it’d be like to have the legendary Heroic Spirit Archer fighting by your side in a dungeon crawler? Fate/Extra Record just gave us a fresh look at exactly that.
The upcoming remake has published a brand-new character trailer focusing on Archer, one of the playable Servants in the game. If you know your Fate lore, you already know this guy is a fan favorite—and now you can see him in action.
For those unfamiliar, Archer is a key Servant in the Fate/Extra universe. His iconic chant—"I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death, nor known to life."—sets the tone for his tragic, powerful character. The trailer likely showcases his combat style and maybe even a few of his signature moves.
Fate/Extra Record is a full remake of the original Fate/Extra, which launched on the PSP back in 2010. The new version is being developed for modern platforms, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet. This trailer is part of a series highlighting the game’s playable Servants, so expect more to come.
If you’re a Fate fan, this is definitely one to keep on your radar. The original game let you pick between Saber, Archer, and Caster as your partner, and each route offered a different story. Seeing Archer get the spotlight again is a treat for longtime fans.
What do you think of Archer’s new look? Will you be picking Fate/Extra Record when it finally launches? Let us know in the comments!
