Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Tekken's Reina as Final Season 3 DLC Fighter

SNK has announced that Tekken 8's Reina will join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as the sixth and final Season 3 DLC character, arriving this December with a teaser trailer.
SNK just dropped some seriously cool news for fighting game fans. Tekken 8's Reina is officially joining Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a DLC fighter, and she's bringing her signature brand of chaos to South Town. A teaser trailer is already out, so go check it out if you haven't yet.
Reina is the sixth and final character of Season 3, and she's set to arrive in December. The season has been themed around "those bound by revenge," bringing back classic favorites like Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan. October will also see the simultaneous release of Mikey and Draken, followed by Raoh in November. That brings Season 3's total to seven DLC characters.
If you're not familiar with Reina, she made her debut in Tekken 8 and quickly became a fan favorite worldwide. She's a mysterious young girl whose innocent smile hides overwhelming strength and a ruthless edge. She's a student at Mishima Polytechnic High School, but beyond that, her background is a complete mystery. In battle, her lightning-fast movements occasionally reveal a hidden ferocity. She wandered into South Town with no clear purpose and decided to enter the King of Fighters tournament. What's her real motive? Nobody knows.
Her fighting style should translate beautifully into City of the Wolves. Tekken's fast, aggressive combat will blend with the REV system, giving players an experience that pulls from the best of both series. Reina's Japanese voice actor is Asami Seto, with Kate Clarke handling the English dub.
This crossover isn't the first time these two franchises have crossed paths. Back in Tekken 7, Fatal Fury's own Geese Howard appeared as a guest character, which drove fans wild. Reina's addition continues that legacy, making this a dream collaboration for longtime followers of both series.
For those who haven't jumped into City of the Wolves yet, it's a fighting game designed to be approachable for anyone while still offering deep strategy as you improve. It features a unique art style, the new REV battle system, and a single-player RPG mode called EOST. The game also supports cross-platform play and rollback netcode for smooth online matches. Season 3 will continue rolling out new stages and in-game content monthly even after launch.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also on the way, launching October 22, 2026, with pre-orders currently open. Various editions are available, including the Legend Edition with Season Passes 1 and 2, and the Revenge Edition which adds Season Pass 3.
So, are you hyped to see Reina throw down in South Town? Let us know in the comments!
