Ever wished your faithful canine companion in Fallout 76 could do more than just lounge around your CAMP? Well, good news: Bethesda is testing a new feature that could turn your furry friends into full-on battle buddies.

Currently, pets in the game are pretty much homebodies - they stay at your CAMP, looking cute and maybe guarding the place. But that's about to change. The devs are experimenting with something called "CAMPanions," which will allow your pets to tag along on your adventures and even help you fight off raiders, scorched, and other wasteland nasties.

So what kind of creatures are we talking about? The test includes dogs and cats, but the list doesn't stop there. While the exact lineup hasn't been fully revealed, it's safe to assume you'll have a variety of loyal companions to choose from.
