Epic's October Freebies: System Shock 2 Remaster and More
Epic Games Store is giving away System Shock 2's 25th anniversary remaster plus Buried Stars, Out of Sight, and TerraScape for free this October.
Ready to grab some free games this October? Epic Games Store has you covered with a lineup that includes a sci-fi horror classic and a few hidden gems.
The headliner is System Shock 2's 25th anniversary remaster. If you've never experienced this legendary title, now's your chance to see why it's considered a landmark in immersive sims and survival horror. The remaster brings the 1999 classic back with updated visuals and modern conveniences, but the core experience remains as tense and atmospheric as ever.
But that's not all. Epic is also offering Buried Stars, a mystery visual novel set in the world of idol competitions; Out of Sight, a puzzle-platformer with a unique perspective; and TerraScape, a relaxing city-building game with card mechanics. All four games are free to claim through October.
Whether you're into deep space horror, narrative mysteries, clever puzzles, or chill building, there's something here for you. And since they're free, there's no reason not to add them to your library.
As always, once you claim these games, they're yours to keep. So don't wait—head over to the Epic Games Store and grab them before the month ends.
What do you think of this month's lineup? Will you be picking up System Shock 2 or any of the others? Let us know in the comments!
