Diablo 4 Season 15 Trick: Full Mythic Gear Sets Explained

Diablo 4 players are using a Recycle Uniques trick to equip full sets of Mythic Unique gear, costing 15 Resplendent Sparks per item. Is it intended or an oversight?
Ever dreamed of running around Sanctuary in a full set of Mythic Unique gear? Well, in Diablo 4 Season 15, some players are doing exactly that—and it might not be entirely intended.
Here's the deal: Back in Season 14, Blizzard added a "crafted" tag to Mythic Uniques made via the Horadric Cube, Blacksmith, or Jeweler, limiting you to just one crafted Mythic at a time. That change wasn't popular, so Blizzard walked it back mid-season and made further improvements in Season 15, Hell's Legacy. Now, Mythics made by the Blacksmith or Jeweler no longer count as crafted, but ones made via the cube still do.
However, there's a loophole. If you combine three of the same Mythic Unique in the cube using the Recycle Uniques recipe, the resulting item loses the "crafted" tag. That means you can equip as many of these recycled Mythics as you can create. The catch? It costs 15 Resplendent Sparks to make one Mythic this way, and doing it for all 12 gear slots would require a staggering 180 Sparks—a grind that's practically impossible for the average player.
That hasn't stopped some of the game's most dedicated content creators, like Wudijo, from pulling it off. The result is characters more powerful than ever before, a huge shift from one season to the next. Whether this is an intentional feature or an oversight remains up in the air. Diablo 4's next update is set for September 29, but the 3.2.2 patch notes don't mention this trick and are mostly bug fixes.
Season 15 has been well-received overall, especially after the unpopular Season 14. It finally added Diablo to Diablo 4, letting players relive past Prime Evil encounters and meet Deckard Cain. Looking ahead, Diablo 4 won't get new expansions, but a new class, the Amazon, arrives in the first half of next year. Meanwhile, Blizzard is working on Diablo 5, set for 2029, with three playable classes already revealed.
So, what do you think? Is this Mythic trick a clever exploit or a game-breaking bug? Will you be grinding for those Sparks? Let us know in the comments!
