Cat Bard's Coin Toss Adventure in EverQuest Legends' Steamfont Mountains

Cat Bard's fate was decided by a coin toss after a dead heat in the polls. Find out what happened in the Steamfont Mountains!
Ever had one of those moments where a coin flip changes everything? That's exactly what happened in my latest Choose My Adventure for EverQuest Legends. The polls were so close that I had to resort to the oldest decision-making tool in the book: a good old-fashioned coin toss.
Last week's voting started out as a nail-biter, with two options neck and neck. But as the days went by, it slowly shifted until it ended in a literal dead heat. No clear winner, no landslide—just a perfect tie. So, with tradition on my side (and a bit of luck), I flipped a coin to decide Cat Bard's next destination.
The winner? The Steamfont Mountains. And let me tell you, it's been quite the ride.
If you're not familiar with the Steamfont Mountains, it's a gnome-heavy zone filled with clockwork creations, dangerous critters, and plenty of opportunities for a cat bard to stretch her claws. My goal was simple: go a-slaying. And that's exactly what I did.
The zone itself is a mix of whimsy and danger. On one hand, you've got these adorable little gnome towns with their quirky inventions. On the other, you've got aggressive clockwork mobs and other nasties that don't take kindly to a wandering bard. But Cat Bard isn't your average bard—she's got a few tricks up her sleeve.
I spent most of my time grinding through the area, taking down everything from clockwork spiders to gnolls. The combat was fast-paced, and the loot wasn't half bad either. It's a great spot for leveling if you're in that mid-level range, and the atmosphere is unlike anything else in the game.
Of course, no adventure is complete without a few surprises. I ran into some unexpected encounters that kept me on my toes, and I even found a few hidden nooks that I hadn't explored before. It's moments like these that remind me why I keep coming back to EverQuest Legends—there's always something new to discover.
So, what do you think? Would you have voted for a different destination, or are you on board with the Steamfont Mountains? Let me know in the comments below, and stay tuned for the next chapter of Cat Bard's journey!
