Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access Gets DLSS 4.5

NVIDIA's new Game Ready Driver brings DLSS 4.5 to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Gears of War: E-Day, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, and more October releases.
NVIDIA just dropped a fresh GeForce Game Ready Driver, and it's packing DLSS 4.5 support for a bunch of October's biggest releases. If you're planning to dive into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's Sim Update 7, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, or Valor Mortis, you'll want to grab this one through the NVIDIA App or NVIDIA's website.
Let's talk about the headliner first. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 kicks off its campaign early access on October 16 for pre-order players, a full week before the official October 23 launch. The campaign follows a young squad of soldiers fighting to survive a collapsing frontline, while Captain Price wages a personal war of revenge on the other side of the globe, always staying one step ahead of his pursuers. DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution boosts performance and image quality across all modes. On RTX 40 Series PCs, DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation pushes frame rates even higher. RTX 50 Series owners can enable Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X for an ideal balance of visuals and performance, which is perfect when you turn on optional ray-traced reflections. And every GeForce RTX PC can use NVIDIA Reflex to cut latency and make your actions feel snappier.
Gears of War: E-Day is out now, and it's a prequel set 14 years before the original Gears of War, following Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago. You can experience DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Frame Generation, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, RTX Mega Geometry, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing across Campaign, Horde Siege PvE, and Versus PvP modes. With 6X Multi Frame Generation and Ultra ray tracing settings enabled, NVIDIA says you'll see an average performance boost of 7.5X compared to native rendering at 4K.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched October 5 and is a high-stakes racing game set in the lawless Outer Rim. You'll join the Galactic League, smashing and battling your way through wildly different tracks in a race-by-race adventure where every event feels unique. You can pilot different classes of repulsorcraft, including landspeeders, speeder bikes, swoops, and iconic podracers, each with distinct physics and playstyles. There's a story-driven campaign and strategic multiplayer grudge matches where reputation is on the line. It supports DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution at launch, plus hardware-accelerated ray-traced Lumen lighting, with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction making it look even better.
Other October highlights include Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, a new single-player survival horror action game from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, launching October 8. Doug Bradley returns as Pinhead for the first time in nearly two decades. You play as Aidan, who must unlock the dark powers of a mysterious puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration to rescue his girlfriend from a hellish abyss. It supports DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, and you can upgrade to the latest DLSS model through the NVIDIA App for better image quality, plus new Dynamic Frame Generation support up to 6X.
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen arrives October 9 as a paid expansion, bringing new story and encounters to the Nogen region, including a character named Ael and a mystery surrounding an undead fallen dragon. You can tackle 12 dungeon challenges for rare gear and customize your character with new hairstyles and tattoos. The update adds DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, upgrading the game's existing DLSS integration. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's Sim Update 7 lands October 13 for free, adding National Championship Air Races and engine improvements, plus DLSS 4.5 with Multi Frame Generation and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X.
There's also Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, out now, which brings back Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends with Unreal Engine 5 visuals and over 40 playable officers. It supports DLSS Super Resolution with NVIDIA's latest second-gen Transformer model. And 007 First Light just got a free Extended Operations update with two tactical simulation missions, New Game+, new weapons and outfits, gadget swapping, a tougher "00" difficulty, and photo mode. It supports path tracing and DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction on GeForce RTX PCs.
