Aion 2 Head Start Rockets Up Steam Charts, Adds More Servers

Aion 2's head start for founder's pack buyers has already pushed the MMORPG into Steam's top sellers and most played charts, prompting additional servers.
Did you snag a founder's pack for Aion 2? If so, you're part of a launch that's already turning heads on Steam.
Just a couple of days into head start access for founder's pack buyers, the MMORPG has climbed onto Steam's top sellers and most played charts. At the time of writing, it's sitting at #4 on the top sellers list โ a pretty solid debut for a game that hasn't even fully launched yet.
That kind of early momentum usually means one thing: server pressure. And sure enough, the team is already opening more servers to handle the influx of players. It's a familiar story for big MMO launches, but seeing it happen during a paid head start is a clear sign that interest in Aion 2 is running high.
For those who haven't been following, Aion 2 is the follow-up to the classic MMORPG, and the head start period is giving founder's pack buyers a jump on everyone else. The fact that it's already charting so well on Steam suggests plenty of people were eager to get in early.
We don't have exact player numbers yet, but charting at #4 on Steam's top sellers is no small feat. It puts the game in rarefied air alongside some of the platform's biggest names โ and remember, this is before the official launch has even happened.
Of course, early success doesn't guarantee a smooth ride. MMOs live and die by their long-term communities, and the real test will come once the gates open to everyone. But for now, Aion 2 is making a strong first impression.
If you're already playing, how's your experience been? And if you're waiting for the full launch, does this early Steam surge make you more likely to jump in? Let us know in the comments!
