34 Video Game Lego Sets Retiring End of 2026

Lego is retiring 34 video game-themed sets at the end of 2026, including Animal Crossing, Horizon and Sonic the Hedgehog builds. Here's what's going away.

Did you finally decide to pick up that Lego set you've been eyeing, only to find out it's about to vanish from shelves forever? If your wishlist is full of video game Lego builds, you'll want to pay attention.

According to the source, 34 video game-themed Lego sets are retiring at the end of the year. That's a big chunk of the gaming Lego lineup disappearing at once, and it spans several fan-favorite franchises.

Among the sets on the chopping block are builds based on Animal Crossing, Horizon and Sonic the Hedgehog. If any of those have been sitting in your cart while you waited for a sale, this is your heads-up that the window is closing.

The source points to a full list of the video game themed Lego sets retiring at the end of 2026, so the complete rundown is out there if you want to check whether your personal must-have made the cut. The key takeaway: this isn't a single theme winding down, it's a broad sweep across multiple gaming licenses.

What does that mean for you? Retiring Lego sets tend to sell through and then get harder to find at retail price. If you've been on the fence about an Animal Crossing, Horizon or Sonic build, waiting much longer could mean paying reseller prices later.

On the flip side, retirements often bring discounts as retailers clear space, so it can also be a smart moment to grab a set you'd otherwise skip. Either way, knowing the list now gives you time to plan instead of scrambling.

So, which of these 34 retiring sets is on your wishlist? Will you be picking one up before it's gone, or are you letting it retire in peace? Let us know in the comments.
